Phyllis DeRose Richarme

Phyllis DeRose Richarme, age 85, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013. Mrs. Richarme was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Jefferson, LA. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Lloyd Aloysius Richarme. Mother of Mary Elizabeth Horn, Sharon Geralyn Richarme, and Phyllis Ann Noel. Grandmother of Cherie Rosier Carlton, Michelle Rosier Dalmado, Kevin J. Rosier, Pamela Horn McLeod, and Melissa R. Horn. Great grandmother of Shane J. Dalmado, Jr., Jake M. Dalmado, Alex D. McLeod, Isabelle M. McLeod, Nathan J. McLeod, Lance J. Carlton, and Lana D. Carlton. Daughter of the late William DeRose and Philippina Stritzinger DeRose. Sister of the late Marie Beauvais, Grace Landeche, and William J. DeRose. Also survived by several nieces. Mrs. Richarme retired from Entergy after 10 years of service and was also a retired employee of D.H. Holmes and Dillards. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Entergy, Dillards, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 13396 River Road in Destrehan, LA on Wednesday morning, November 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening, November 19, 2013 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA and on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church.
