Ray Emile Ory

RAY was born on April 15, 1944, in Reserve, Louisiana, to HARRY and LINDA BERCEGEAY ORY.

On February 23, 1965, he married JUDY MARIE BUNCH. They raised a daughter, SUSAN ANN ORY.

RAY, had a passion for birds, drawing, gardening, and snakes. He loved the outdoors, especially sitting on his swing with his wife, JUDY, talking with the birds, watching airplanes taking off and landing, and watching ships go up and down the Mississippi River. He loved building things with his hands, such as model airplanes, boats, tanks, bow and arrows. He loved building all types of houses throughout Louisiana.

He was known for his quick wit, great jokester – his laugh and smile were infectious. He was kind and had a compassionate spirit.

RAY was preceded in death by his father, HARRY, and his mother, LINDA, his brother, ROYAL, and his sister, IRMA. He is survived by his wife, JUDY, his daughter, SUSAN, his brother, RONALD, his son-in-law, CHRIS VEST, his grandson, TYLAR RAE PATTERSON, and four great-grandchildren, SELENA COCHRAN, TELENA COCARAN, CEDRIC GREEN and LEAH GREEN.
