Ronald S. Babin

Ronald "Pie" Babin, went to sing and dance with the angels and his Savior on June 1, 2023. Devoted companion of Mary Gayle Chidester. Father of Kevin and Kim Simone and granddaughter Alexis Reynolds.

Ron was a drummer for 30 years in the Gonzales area. He was a barber and caregiver and a star on the dance floor.

Ron is survived by his brother Sidney "Pookie" Babin and wife Connie. Nieces Trudy Haygood and Pam Gautreaux and Mike and Keith Babin.

Ron was loved by Mary Gayles' family. Frank and Kim Sevier, Shawn Sr., and his buddy (Darren). Tammy and Stephen Hoorman. Grandkids, Melissa and Travis, Shawn Jr., Megan, and great-grandson ("Sweet" Tripp. Stephen, Jr., Ethan, and Blair.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney "Snap" Babin and Inez Laneux, his brother Donald and sister Laverne Guidry.

Ron will be interred in Metairie Cemetery attended by immediate family members.

Many thanks to Ron's niece Trudy for her help through his hospitalization. Thank you my sweet love for twenty-two years of fun, love, and devotion.
