Ronald Joseph Giovengo

Giovengo, Ronald Joseph, passed away at age 83. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corp during the Korean War. He loved family, fishing and cooking. After the war he established Giovengos Construction Company, where he was a great contractor. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joy Perridon, his surviving daughters, Cynthia Giovengo (Jamey), Jayne Hulse(James Sr.), and Ellen Cortello(Darryl), grand children BJ(Kelly), Amanda, Jonathan, James Jr., Giovanna and Dominic. Also by his great grand children Taylor, Kamryn, Gavin, Gabe, and lifetime family friend Sharon Basom. Also Survived by his brothers and sisters Raymond, Susan, Catherine and Billy. He is preceded in the death by his parents Catherine and Paul Giovengo, Paul Jr., Joseph, Bobby, Elroy, Anthony, Better, Thaddaeus and Betty Mae.

Funeral Services will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Metairie, Louisiana on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM to follow.
