

Mr. Klein resided in New Orleans his whole life, but spent much time at his summer home in Waveland, MS.
He was a member of Good Shepard Parish (St. Henry’s Church).
Graduated from Holy Cross High School and attended Notre Dame until he enlisted in the Navy.
He worked at Gulf Oil as a draftsman and then Chevron as head of reproduction department until he retired.
He was a member of American Legion Post No. 77 in Waveland, MS., was President of St. Stephen Men’s Club, and volunteered his time to United Cerebral Palsy.
Preceded in death by his parents Mary Louise (Mamie) Batt Klein and Henry Klein, brother Gerald Klein and beloved cousin Juanita Perrin.
Survived by wife, Isabel Martinez Klein, daughter Sheridan Dilorenzo (Mike), son Rickey Klein, daughter Carlos Doucet ( Clay), son Gary Klein (Maria), daughter Stephanie Klein, grandchildren Gina(Bobby) Laird Michael (Jennifer) Dilorenzo, Christian and Andrew Doucet, Lynsey, Shannon and Ross Klein and great-grandchildren Rylan and Reeve Laird, Anthony and Alex Dilorenzo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service for Mr. Klein on Friday, January 20, 2023 at St. Henry Catholic Church, 801 General Pershing St, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:30AM -11AM with a Mass to begin at 11AM.
There will be a reception to Celebrate Roy's life after the services. It will be held at Superior Seafood, 4338 St. Charles Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115, from 12:30 to 3:30PM.
