Ruben Villanueva Mangosing of Kenner, Louisiana went to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the age of 78. He was born and raised in Castillejos, Zambales Philippines and was the son of the late Leopoldo Mangosing and the late Veronica Villanueva Mangosing. He proudly served in the United States Coast Guard for over 20 years. He later worked for Kenner Bowl and the The Treasure Chest Casino in the marine crew.
Ruben was the beloved husband of the late Florencia Palomar Mangosing for 22 years and the father of George Mangosing and Tara Mangosing. He is also survived by a sister, Maria “Vicky” Bryer; three grandchildren, Chad Mangosing, Ryan Mangosing and Darian Thomas; five great-grandchildren, Chad Jr., Christian, Chase, Jules, and Tamia in addition to nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM.
