Ruth Silverman Meisel, age 93, died in Branford, CT. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Wife of the late Leon Meisel. Mother of Andre Meisel and Cheri Meisel of Naugatuck, CT and Farrell Meisel (Vered) of Indio, CA. Daughter of the late Sam and Fannie Silverman. Sister of Elliot Silverman and the late Julius and Saul Silverman. Mrs. Meisel was New Orleans resident for over 86 years and had been living in Connecticut since Hurricane Katrina.
Graveside services will be held from Jewish Burial Rites Cemetery, 4321 Frenchmen St. on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rabbi Ethan Linden officiating. Kindly omit flowers.
