Sandra Guillot Caperino

Sandra is survived by her husband of 53 years, Paul J. Caperino, Sr.; daughter Rebecca Caperino Wilshire and her husband Daniel J. Wilshire; son Paul J. Caperino, Jr.; granddaughter Hailey Dawn Wilshire; nephew Brian J. Guillot, Sr. and his wife Jennie G. Guillot; great nieces and nephew Emma Guillot, Brian “Bubby” Guillot, II, Ella Guillot, Mia Guillot, and Lauren Wintzel; cousins Alissa Leach, Johnita Smith and Roynelle Smith; nephew Troy Guillot; great niece Brianne G. Rice and her husband Westly Rice; great nephew Cody Guillot; sister in law Linda Guillot. She is also preceded in death by her infant daughter Jennifer M. Caperino and brother Alvin Guillot, Jr. Sandra was a teacher aide for Waggaman Special School for 25 years. She showed her love for family and friends by cooking and baking. Her home was the place to gather, talking and laughing over home cooked meals.

A visitation will be held at Leitz-Egan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana 70006 on Monday, November 20, 2023, beginning at 11:00am followed by a Memorial Mass at 1:00pm. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment at the American Legion, 1225 Hickory Ave. Harahan, Louisiana 70123.
