

Sean Brown (Poppp) followed the Lord home on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the age of 55. He was a native of New Orleans and resided in Harahan. He was the beloved husband of Linda for 36 years. His legacy lives on in his daughter Jennifer B. Barron, son-in-law Kraig Barron and grandsons Grayson, Benjamin, and Sawyer Barron. Survived by brother Kim Brown Sr., sister-in-law Marilou and nephews Kim Jr, Matthew, and Michael; sister-in-law Sandra Nichols; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Son-in-law of Charles (Bob) and Nellie Vee Nichols. Son of the late Edgar J. Brown and Jeanne H. Brown.
Sean was the President of Deep South Blenders, Inc., his family-run spice business of the past 40 years. He served the community as a Kenner North Kiwanian and touched many lives as the Sponsored Youth Director. He was part of the family of Riverside Church. Some of his greatest loves: family, work, Key Club, helping others, travel, and boating. He will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
Please join us for a memorial service celebrating his life on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 4:30 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA.
