Sean "Poopsie" Patrick Daigle

Sean "Poopsie" Patrick Daigle, age 54, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Poopsie was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Lane Price Daigle, son of Sheron B. Sprawls; and Thomas J. Daigle, step-son of Vernon W. Sprawls, brother of Michelle S. Borrows (Michael); step-brother, Matthew D. Sprawls (Amy), half-brother of, Christopher and Marc Daigle, along with numerous aunt, uncles, and cousins.

Graduated from Brother Martin High School in May 1987; and also from Johnson and Wales University Culinary Arts "Cum Laude", Charleston, SC, May 1999.

He was the Sous Chef at Mr. B's, the Executive Chef at Johnny Ryan's Steakhouse, the Executive Chef of La Pavillion Hotel, and the Executive Chef at Blue Bayou Steakhouse in Lakeshore, MS.

His favorite pastimes were fishing on his boat, fishing with his Godchild Ryan, and attending concerts by his favorite band, Wide Spread Panic.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Holy Trinity Dr., Covington, LA; visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, and Mass will follow at noon. Inurnment will immediately follow at Metairie Cemetery at All Saints Mausoleum, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA.
