Stanley Charles Guidry

Stanley Charles Guidry, age 76, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. Beloved father of Diane Weiss (husband, Bud), Karen Fisse (husband, Sonny) and Tim Guidry. Grandfather of Danielle Mollere, Katie and Meghan Fisse, Trey Weiss, Monica and Michelle Guidry (Maria Guidry). Brother of Linda Guidry Stein (husband, Andrew), Ann Guidry Jordan and the late Charles “Chuck” Guidry, Jr. Son of the late Charles William Guidry and Jeanne Rose Brunet Guidry. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Mr. Guidry was retired district manager of Schwegmann’s Supermarket. He was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School Class of 1954, a U.S. Navy Reserve veteran, a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Mary Magdalen Church and a member and past emperor of the Corps De Napoleon. Mr. Guidry was an avid runner and LSU fan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Friday, November 2, 2012 beginning at 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 2:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
