Steve Lawson passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Martha Lawson. They were married 36 wonderful years. He proudly served his country in Vietnam. Steve was predeceased by his parents Ruby Andersen and William Lawson, Sr. and brothers William, Larry and Donald Lawson. He is survived by brother, Frank Lawson, sisters Carolyn Chartier, Debbie Gattin, dauthers Shannon Hidalgo (Ronnie Hidalgo), Karen Miranda (Keith Miranda), grandchildren Janelle Martinez, Ashlie Miranda, Alyson Miranda, Mare Dufour, Jessie Dufour, Taylor Hidalgo, Lacey Hidalgo. He will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Steve was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Metairie.
