Steven K. Kelts

Steven K. Kelts a native of Rochester Hills, Michigan and resident of Metairie, La, passed away on Monday (March 4, 2013) at the young age of 42. He was predeceased by his mother, Hyon Im "Tina" Kelts. Steve was a devoted husband and best friend to his loving wife, Raina Casbon Kelts. Steve is survived by his son Jeremy Steven Kelts, father Larry G. Kelts and 2 sisters, Tracy (Shane) Eskew and Jennifer (Bob) VanArsdale. He was the son-in-law of Mr. C. Matt Casbon and the late Joy M. Casbon and brother-in-law to Ms. Trina L. Casbon. Steve was the loving uncle of Cassidy, Morgan and Brooke Eskew, and Reed and Owen VanArsdale, and is also survived by his best friend and "brother", Wayne Hudik as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Steve served in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician during Desert Storm, he was a CNC Machinist for over 20 years and was more recently an active member of the United States Bowling Congress and the NRA, Certified in Scuba Diving at Harry's Dive Shop in Metairie and founder and GF of (313) Detroit Mafia group on Facebook. Steve was a fan of everything Detroit, the Lions, Red Wings and Tigers as well as 4x4 trucks and mud bogs. Steve will be loved and remembered by any and all who knew him. Relatives, friends, and employees of Southern Precision Inc. are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, La on Monday evening March 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Visitation from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday.
