Theresa Mae Siemann Russell, 87 of Harahan, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 11, 2018. She was born in Cottonport, Louisiana on May 18, 1931. Theresa graduated from Mansura High School. She was preceded in death by her loving husband; Harold W. Russel., her parents; Curry Siemann and Noemie Armand Siemann; her brothers; Hubert Siemann and Hannel Siemann. She is survived by her children; Wanda Ebersole, Robin Russell, Kelly Gugliuzza, and William Russell (Schereen), her Grandchildren; Robert Ebersole, Jr. (Stephanie), Warren “Ed” Ebersole, Philip J. Arena III, Jillian Arena, Kali Russell, Lacey Keelan (Jeff), Lindsy Chesla, Ryan Chesla and 16 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Theresa worked in the service industry which included, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, NASA, Sugar Refinery, and Ochsner Hospital. She had a passion for the New Orleans Saints, dance, coffee, and loved history and reading, but most of all she was very devoted to her family which she loved dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana 70006 on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Visitation will be from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm in the Leitz-Eagan Chapel. Interment will be private at a later date.
