Thomas E. Mayville entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the age of 67. Tommy is survived by his wife of 47 years and sweetheart for 52 years, Suzette (Sue) Bodenheimer and their two children, Thomas "TJ" Mayville, Jr. (Jennifer) and Tiffani Asbill (Jason). He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Sadie Lasserre, Autumn Mayville, Cooper Asbill and Camille Asbill who affectionately called him "Pops"; his sisters, Debbie Harris and Mary Jo O’Bannon (Michael) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Victor Mayville and Mary Elizabeth Vire Mayville and a brother, Bobby Mayville. Tommy was a graduate of East Jefferson High School’s 1975 class and a member of the William D. White Masonic Lodge No. 408. He retired from Valero Refinery after 45+ years of employment.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 11:00 am at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
