Thomas Williams Jr.

Thomas (Chico) Williams, Jr, age 73, passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Beloved husband of Carol Salisbury Williams. Father of Lisa Hadley (Jay). Brother of the late Hilda Camet and Aurora Williams. Grandfather of Amanda Hadley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams was a native of New Orleans, and a resident of Tickfaw, LA since Hurricane Katrina. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a 52 year employee of Antoine’s Restaurant, former Chief Investigator for 27 years for the Orleans Indigent Defender’s Program and former employee of the New Orleans Sheriff’s Department and Spanish interpreter for the New Orleans Criminal Courts. Tommy also was caretaker of the Lalaurie Mansion in the French Quarter for former owner Nicholas Cage and present owner Michael Whalen, Jr.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Garden of Memories Funeral Home Chapel, 4900 Airline Drive, with visitation of Friday, September 14, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and again on Saturday from 9:00AM to 11:00 AM.
