Vincent Palestina passed away on August 29, 2024 at his River Ridge home. He was born October 8, 1938 in New Orleans to the late Charles and May Palestina. He was married to Johnnie Daughtry for over 59 years. He is survived by his devoted wife Johnnie, daughter Andrea Palestina Heingarten (Paul). History enthusiast, fan of classic films, and someone who loved the rich heritage and cuisine of New Orleans. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd in Metairie on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Visitation at 11am, Funeral Mass at 1pm.
