Mrs. Vivian "Jimmie" Davis Sison

Vivian “Jimmie” Davis Sison passed away peacefully on Monday, August 15, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Gustave F.P. Sison, Sr. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank H. Davis, Sr. and Loretta W. Davis; her brothers and sisters, Frank Davis, Jr., Roy Davis, Sr., William Davis, Eloise Polders, Irene Stumpf, Corinne Tubbs, Mattie Maggio, Ruth Fredrickson and Patricia McFadin. Survived by two loving sisters, Marietta Crane and Ethel Patorno. Mother of Charles T. Sykes (Toni), Eugene C. Sykes, Gustave F.P. Sison, Jr. (Mary Ann), Janet “Susie” Miller (Paul) and the late Lewis H. Sison. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Jimmie owned Parkview Bar, worked for Higgins Aircraft, was a beautician and worked for Magnolia Liquor for over 25 years. Jimmie’s family would like to thank the staff of East Jefferson Hospital and members of Academy for their loving care. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Thursday evening, August 18, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM and on Friday morning, August 19, 2011 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11: 00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
