Wilfred Joseph Millet III

Wilfred J. “Sugar Boy” Millet, III passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012. He was 69. He was born in Maurepas, LA and lived in Kenner, LA almost 50 years. A barber most of his life, he operated and owned Modern Image for 30 years. Son of Wilfred J. Millet, II and the late Ethel Ferrell. Partner of the late Patricia E. Cardwell for 38 years. Father of Wilfred “Joey” Millet, IV, Rachel M. Fuller and the late Jeffery C. Millet. Stepfather of Terry C. Barrilleaux, Spencer Cardwell and the late Steven Cardwell. Brother of Marion Fitzgerald, Charles Millet, Gary Millet and Ina Weber. Grandfather of Michael, Jeffrey and Laura Millet; Austin and Garrison Barrilleaux; Buddy and Chandler Cardwell, Magan Burr and Spencer Cardwell, II.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie,LA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
