William Denman Burch Jr.

William Denman Burch, Jr., 85, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011, a resident of Mandeville, LA. Survived by beloved wife, Deanna Copeland Burch, step-children Dr. Victor E. Tedesco IV and wife, Sonya, Roy C. Tedesco , Dr. Laureen A. Tedesco, and Valerie E. Shaw, sister Margaret Robey of Maryland, grandchildren Alexander E. Tedesco and Victor E. Tedesco V, several nieces and nephews, and beloved pet, Sheba. Bill was born in Texarkana, TX. After high school he joined the Navy and fought in WW II as a yeoman second class aboard the USS Fanshaw Bay. He was in five major battles in the Pacific and received the Presidential Unit Citation. He graduated from LSU and spent most of his working life as a manufacturer's representative selling jewelry before retiring in 1998.
