William John Reinke

William J. “Bill” Reinke, a native of Fond du Lac, WI, departed this life on Sunday, November 17, 2013. He was a retired manager of the U.S. Postal Employees Credit Union for the Greater New Orleans area and a U.S. Army veteran. In 2010, he was awarded the Louisiana Veterans Honor Medal by Governor Jindal. Beloved husband of Betty Frugé Reinke. Loving father of Kevin, Todd (Denise) and David Reinke. Proud grandfather of Seth, Sage, Kameron, Ashton and Austin Reinke and Sebastian Navia. Also survived by a sister, Betty Olsen and a brother, Ronald Reinke, Sr. of Fond du Lac, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Inez LeMieux and John Reinke; his brothers, James and Leon Reinke and a sister, Bernice Cleveland.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 12:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am.
