

Andre Rene Gadpaille, 71, lost his battle with cancer on January 4, 2025. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica on December 6, 1953, to parents Rene and Barbara Gadpaille, both now deceased. Andre is survived by his loving wife, Gina. They were married for just shy of 26 years. Gina was at Andre’s side helping him fight his battle and faithfully caring for him until the end. He is also survived by three siblings; Eric (Tony), wife Katherine; Jeanette; and Gary. Andre is survived as well by his sister-in-law, Deborah (Carlos) Jaile who has remained close to the family and Andre over the years. Andre was very close to his nieces and nephews. Tony Gadpaille and Debbie Jaile’s children Dominque (Jeff) Brown, Alexandra (Travis) Nellen and Nicholas (Michelle) Gadpaille. As well as Gary’s children Aida, Austin and Megan. Andre had other family members, cousins and in-laws that he loved as well.
Andre came to Miami in 1975. He worked for the family business, Airex, an air conditioning repair and parts business, which was started in 1976. Andre continued the business after his parent’s death until the present time.
Gina and Andre met on January 26, 1990, at TGI Fridays in the Falls. Andre was a regular there. He even had a bar stool with his name on it. They saw each other then and have been together ever since. Their marriage was a happy one. They were “fur” parents to several kitties over the years. Gina retired early to be with Andre at home. She took care of him during his battle.
To say Andre will be missed is an understatement. He was loved and still is by many. Friends and family will forever remember Andre as the quintessential host. Andre loved a party. He and Gina have hosted many celebrations, weddings and birthdays in their home throughout the years. Andre was known for his gracious hospitality. Andre knew everybody! There was hardly a place he could go where he didn’t know someone. Andre was friendly and generous to everyone he met.
Andre was passionate about natural health and healing. His self-taught knowledge of herbal supplements and vitamins was extensive. “Dr. Andre” was always ready to recommend a natural remedy for what ails you. Andre and Gina both lived an organic lifestyle. Andre was a talented cook able to make good clean food taste delicious. He loved to garden especially to grow fruit. He loved to reap his crop.
Everyone who knew Andre will remember his wit, humor, talents, generosity and love forever.
