My dear friend Ana no words can express how sorry I am for your loss. 40 years of  sharing  the ups and downs of our lives and our children’s are cherished memories of mine. My deepest condolences on the loss of the beautiful Angie. There are no words that can truly ease the pain of losing someone so deeply loved, but I hope you find comfort in knowing she will always be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the love she so effortlessly gave.

Life unfolds in unexpected ways, and though I didn’t know Angie as her family and closest friends did, I knew her in the moments that revealed her true character—through her kindness, her laughter, and the way she made challenges feel lighter. As classmates in grad school, we spent nearly two years navigating the stresses of our studies together. She wasn’t just another classmate; she was someone who helped, who brought warmth to even the toughest moments.

After school, life moved forward, and I saw glimpses of her journey—her marriage, motherhood, the love she built around her. Then came the heartbreaking news of the battle she faced. I found myself checking back, hoping for good news, praying for her and her family. I regret not reaching out, not letting her know that she was on my mind, that even from a distance, I was rooting for her.

It’s devastating to know the world has lost someone as kind, as loving, and as bright as Angie. If she was anything in motherhood like she was in school—with her patience, strength, and heart—then I know she was an incredible mother, pouring endless love into her family and children.

Angie left an impact on so many simply by being herself. Though her time here was too short, the love she gave, the kindness she showed, and the memories she created will live on in all who knew her.

Please accept my deepest condolences. My heart is with you all during this unimaginable time, and I hope that even in sorrow, you find comfort in the love she left behind.
