So many memories shared with your family and sweet mom. Funny ones and just plan awesome ones.  You are all in my thoughts and will always carry your mom in my heart. Much love to u all during g this difficult time. She was just a no frill awesome lady!!! Spoiled my sister and I A lot. Will be missed!

Sharing our memories of wonderful times with Carmen Rosa.


On the occasions that Carmen visited her daughter Tina in New York I made every effort to go see her. I loved listening to her stories; especially the stories about the family and life in Cuba. She was smart and funny. I will miss her but will find her in her children and grandchildren.

We treasure our gatherings for all of life’s celebrations, picnics, beach outings, museum visits, and lectures, trips, happy and sad affairs, certainly our New Year´s Eve adventures and all our ‘‘descargas”. We always felt part of your family and you of ours. 

Our dear friend, go in God’s peace and know that you are in our hearts, dearly missed, and our much-loved friend always and forever. 

You can be sure that our lives have been made bright and so much more alive by your presence in them. 

Thank you our dear friend for the forty plus years of the most wonderful friendship...laughter, tears, camaraderie and love.  We truly cared for each other deeply and for each other´s families while handling all the situations that life threw our way. We are so thankful that God gave us the gift of your friendship which brought color, life and understanding into ours.
