I am at a loss for words. I have known Abel since our MV Freeport days and continued to be friends ever since. For the past year I’ve tried to contact him even writing letters when he didn’t answer the phone. I just saw this today 12/12/20 my heart is broken 
  He was so wonderful to my Mom and my children I will never forget him. One of the most special persons I have ever met.

Uncle Dalt, I have a lifetime of memories that you and I have shared.  You always showed me the how-to's of life and always pushed me to make good choices.  I have missed our long phone conversations and impromptu visits to Florida to spend time with you.  You were a fine example of an uncle who was always willing to lend a hand when I needed it.  Always full of love and grace; I love you dearly, and will miss you, until we meet again.  Rest in peace, and take your place at the right hand of God.  

There are no easy words to describe how much you will be missed. I find comfort knowing that you are rejoicing with our family above... thank you for all the love and advise you’ve given me through out my life! Tell my daddy that I love and miss him! Rest In Peace Uncle Dalt! 

When one thinks of the meaning of a true friend, your name and memory undoubtedly comes to mind. Mr. Abel thank you so much for all you did for my family. You were one of the kindest persons I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and I will surely miss you. May you rest in peace in God's infinite glory.
