Daniel Charles McAlpine, age 76, of Grant, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
Born on October 29, 1948, in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, Daniel later made the United States his home and proudly served his adopted country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. A man of great determination and a strong work ethic, Daniel went on to become self-employed in the construction industry, owning McCourt Construction Inc., where his dedication and skill earned the respect of many.
Daniel will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Lisa; his cherished sons and daughter-in-law, Matthew (Brandi) McAlpine and David McAlpine as well as his step-son Julian Khalil who he raised from the age of 5. He adored his four beautiful grandchildren: Mandi, Tucker, Hannah, and Oliver McAlpine. He also leaves behind numerous other family members and friends whose lives he touched. His kindness, strength, and steady presence will be deeply missed.
