Dolores J. Fernandez

She was born on June 24, 1923 in Isabella de Sagua, Las Villas, Cuba, where she was affectionately known as Lolita Martorell. She loved all animals, but had an especially soft spot for dogs and was the caretaker of all the family pets. Lola was totally devoted to her children continuously demonstrating her unconditional love for them. She was predeceased in 2004 by her husband of 58 years, Rolando Fernandez. Her children, Miguel Fernandez and Rosalia Gallo will miss her immensely.

The visitation will take place on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 from 6:00p.m. till midnight at Funeraria Memorial Plan- Westchester 9800 S.W. 24th Street Miami. On Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Brendan Catholic Church 8725 S.W. 32nd Street, Miami for an 11:00a.m. funeral mass with interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery 11411 S.W. 25th Street, Miami.
