She was a loving wife, mother and a remarkable person who enjoyed getting together with her family, especially over the holidays. Mima was the sweetest person; always smiling. You can see it in all her pictures.
Mima is survived by her husband, as well as three sons, one daughter and two lovely daughter in-laws. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She has already met with her other daughter, Mariela, who predeceased her on June 20, 2020.
She was very loved by her family and friends.

Edilia Ortiz "Mima" nació en Matanzas, Cuba, el 14 de junio de 1932. Entró por las puertas del Cielo el 26 de octubre de 2020.
Ella era una amorosa esposa, madre y una persona extraordinaria que disfrutaba reunirse con su familia, especialmente durante los días festivos. Mima era la persona más dulce; siempre sonriendo. Puedes verlo en todas sus fotos.
A Mima le sobreviven su esposo, tres hijos, una hija y dos encantadoras nueras. También le sobreviven siete nietos y cinco bisnietos. Ya se ha reunido con su otra hija, Mariela, quien falleció antes que ella el 20 de junio de 2020.
Mima era muy querida por toda su familia y sus amistades.
A visitation for Edilia will be held Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 2:45 PM at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South, 11655 SW 117 Ave, Miami, Florida 33186. Following the visitation will be a burial at 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Park South, 11655 SW 117 Ave, Miami, Florida 33186.
