“Fabio Ramirez, beloved son of Rafael and Elvia Ramirez, and devoted husband of Yazmina Mirabal Ramirez, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was a proud and loving father to his three children—Yazmina, Fabio, and Christopher—and a cherished grandfather to five grandchildren: Eddy, Lexi, Mari, Aly, and Ella, who were the light of his life.
Fabio was a man of great faith who always believed in the goodness of people. He wore his heart on his sleeve and was loved by everyone he met. His incredible smile and infectious laugh could instantly make a room feel warmer, and his presence made people feel seen and welcomed . A hard-working man through and through, everything he did was for his family, whom he loved fiercely and without condition.
He found great joy in traveling (especially Spain, “la madre patria”,) fishing (as he would say “ tirando un hilito”,) and a competitive game of dominoes. He loved his Glenlivet just enough to get “un puntico” which would undoubtedly work its way to a “comma” and end with an “exclamation mark.”, and was famously and unapologetically selective about sharing his desserts. Fabio welcomed everyone into his home with open arms and a generous heart, and he loved to celebrate life—especially Christmas Eve, a night that held a special place in his heart and was always filled with tradition, laughter, and togetherness.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.”
—Matthew 25:23
Fabio leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, laughter, and hospitality. His spirit will live on in the traditions he cherished, the stories that will be told, and the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love him.”
