Felino Ramirez

Born on June 1, 1930. He is survived by his wife, Esperanza Ramirez and 10 children. He escaped the repression and communism of Cuba in 1989. In 1990, Felino met the love of his life Esperanza. Although 22 years her senior, age is nothing but a number. I will say , he never looked his age!

Through life, Felino took care of himself with natural remedies, healthy eating habits, and tons of baby oil which was the secret for his youthful appearance.

He was a strong man , physically and mentally. He was very stubborn too. At his age, he refused to use a walker or cane even though it was needed. I say this because until last month, he would exercise around his block using a Sedano’s cart because for him using a walker was for old people.

He was an amazing husband, father , grandfather, uncle and friend. He was full of life even in his old age and willing to continue living. He will be dearly missed but we will continue to keep alive his legacy.

Felino Ramírez (94) de Jiguaní, Cuba, falleció el 22 de agosto de 2024 rodeado de sus seres queridos. Sufrió múltiples derrames cerebrales que finalmente acabo con su vida. Nacido el 1 de junio de 1930. Le sobreviven su esposa, Esperanza Ramírez y 10 hijos. Escapó de la represión y el comunismo de Cuba en 1989. En 1990, Felino conoció al amor de su vida, Esperanza. Aunque es 22 años mayor que ella, la edad no es más que un número. ¡Diré que nunca aparentó su edad! A lo largo de la vida, Felino se cuidó con remedios naturales, hábitos alimenticios saludables y toneladas de aceite de bebé que fue el secreto de su apariencia juvenil. Era un hombre fuerte, física y mentalmente. Él también era muy terco. A su edad, se negaba a utilizar andador o bastón a pesar de que era necesario. Digo esto porque hasta el mes pasado hacía ejercicio en su cuadra usando un carrito de Sedano porque para él usar un andador era de gente mayor.

Fue un esposo, padre, abuelo, tío y amigo increíble. Estaba lleno de vida incluso en su vejez y dispuesto a seguir viviendo. Lo extrañaremos mucho, pero continuaremos manteniendo vivo su legado.
