Flor Mercedes Baldizon

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Flor de Mercedes Baldizon, who passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at the age of 57. Flor was a beloved soul, known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those around her.

Throughout her life, Flor touched the hearts of many with her vibrant spirit, compassionate nature, and radiant smile. Flor was a devoted friend, cherished family member, and someone who always put others before herself. Flor’s ability to bring joy and positivity into every room she entered will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

During her time in High School, she was involved in JROTC and Civil Air Patrol. Later in her life she worked for the Home Depot where she started as a cashier and with hard work and dedication moved up to become an Assistant Store Manager.

Flor loved music and to dance, her favorite songs were Vivir mi Vida by Marc Anthony, Es Mentiroso by Olga Tanon, Danza Kuduro by Don Omar, and See you Again by Wiz Khalifa. Flor’s favorite TV shows were Que Pasa U.S.A, Survivor, Master Chef, and The Amazing Race.

Flor’s memory will live on through her loved ones: Her parents, Elba & Ausberto Rodolfo Baldizon; Her sister, Patricia Baldizon - Stark and her brother in-law, Richard Stark; Her nephew Justin Stark and her niece in-law, Tarin Tischler; Her uncle & aunts, Pedro A. Romero, Renee Romero, Janis Lavine; Her cousins, Juli & Christi Romero; Cousin in-law, Dany Gomez, Jaime Antonio Romero, Rosario, Patricia and Pedro Ramirez, and her second cousin in-law, Salvador Gomez.

Her legacy of love, strength, and resilience will continue to inspire and guide those left behind.

The viewing will be held on March 11, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and the Funeral will be on March 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Both will be held at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South (11655 SW 117th Ave, Miami, FL 33186). Family and friends are invited to join in honoring her memory.

Flor, you will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace.
