

Martin, Francisco, 79, of Miami Lakes passed away on May 14, 2015. He was surrounded by his family and closest friends. His friends and family knew him by “Pancho”. Pancho was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was born on November 22, 1935 in Havana, Cuba from where he immigrated to Key West in 1968 with his wife Emma and his son Frank. He formerly owned and operated the El Siboney Restaurant in Key West, where they made many friends and are still greatly esteemed. He also enjoyed visiting the casinos in Las Vegas and the Hard Rock in Ft. Lauderdale when he came to visit and after retirement. He vacationed in Cuba, Las Vegas, Dominican Republic and all over the Caribbean with his family. He will be remembered as someone who touched many lives to those he loved and cared about so much, and a reliable friend to all who knew him. He was someone that would provide for his family and put their needs before his. He is survived by his loving wife, Emma Martin; his daughter in law, Mayra; his grandchildren Frank Jr and Barbara, and his great grandchild Benjamin Corea. He is also survived by his sisters, Magaly Martin and Blanca Martin and his brother Norberto Martin. He was preceded in death by his mother Gabriela Cartaya, his father Agimiro Martin, his son, Frank J. Martin and his brother Gilberto Martin. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 5 p.m. to midnight at Caballero Rivero Westchester Funeral Home at 8200 SW 40 Street, Miami, FL 33155. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 at St. Raymond Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. located at 3475 SW 17 Street, Miami, FL 33145. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Park South located at 11655 SW 117 Avenue Miami, FL.
