Hortensia Rodriguez, a devoted mother, grandmother, and matriarch, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at the age of 99. She was born on May 23, 1926, in Cuba, where she began a life defined by resilience, love, and unwavering strength.

Though small in stature, Hortensia possessed a powerful spirit and remarkable inner strength. She faced life with determination and grace, becoming a steady source of guidance and comfort to those around her. Family was the center of her world. She was a loving and amazing mother whose greatest joy came from caring for her children and cherishing her grandchildren, with whom she shared a deep and special bond.

Hortensia’s life was marked by sacrifice, perseverance, and unconditional love. Her home was a place of warmth, where family gathered, and memories were made. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and family unity that will continue to live on through generations.

A visitation will be held on December 29, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Caballero Rivero Little Havana, located at 3344 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135.

The committal service will take place on December 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn North, located at 3260 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135.
