The Affirmative Aging Ministry of the Church of Ascension ,offers prayers and sympathy at this time to the entire family of our beloved MrHughHastings. He displayed his love forGOD family and church community .Our ministry has the faithful committed steps of Mr Hastings to follow and will  always be reminded of his examples ,dedication ,and willingness to serve ,even to the very end .We appreciated,loved and respected him and may he rest in peace and rise in glory , the entire Affirmative Aging Ministry salutes MrHastings  and  we thank you for sharing him with us for so many years...EvelynAlfred.

Mr Hugh Hastings one of the stalwarts of our Church of the Ascension Family will surly be missed and in fact I am not sure what church (,when it opens ) will be like without him.However we give Father God thanks and praise for the wonderful years we shared and made great memories in our church.RIEP and rise in glory our “Bishop” until we meet again

So grateful to have this opportunity to say some kind thoughts for my oldest brother Hugh. I was fortunate to live with him as a family member in my younger years.  Attended many Church services as he was a man of Godly traits standing now for sure in His presence. He will surely be missed by all who he connected with over the years. Both my wife Connie and our immediate family found his strong, jovial sense and love so endearing whenever we met over the years on our Florida visits. Of course, he himself always had a memory about each youngster to recall when they see each other. All of us here will have nothing but good memories of him for a very long time.
