Shakespeare in Love
And poetry...adventure...and love I had. In May of 2002, a friend gave me the best gift I ever received, 2 tickets to a wine show. I tried to entice a friend to join me, and fortunately she declined. I took a leap of faith and went by myself, something completely out of character for me. And it was there where I met Jason, my best friend, my inspiration, the love of my life... my husband... my soul mate.
Jason lived up to his wedding vows… made me feel loved and stood by me in sickness and in health. While he motivated me to be active, showed me a great time doing water sports and cycling, his biggest impact in my life were the amazing traveling experiences. Jason showed me the world, we hiked some astounding trails, such as the Huayna Picchu, visited beautiful cities around the world, cruised the Caribbean, enjoyed the theatre and many delightful meals; he created memories that will stay with me until my last breath.
Jason was born in Toronto, Canada. While he was an avid outdoorsman, he had great appreciation for art, music and literature. He studied philosophy in the University of Toronto, however he later changed his career to Information Technology. His philosophy was to enjoy life at its fullest, loved animals and nature, was honest and had high ethical standards, both socially and professionally. He had a special relationship with his sister Nancy as with his parents when they lived.
To our friends and family, I leave but one thought "The greatest thing you'll ever learn Is just to love and be loved in return"
And to my immortal beloved I sing one of the many songs he enjoyed: I Only Have Eyes for You
My love must be a kind of blind love
I can't see anyone but you
Are the stars out tonight?
I don't know if it's cloudy or bright
I only have eyes for you, dear
The moon may be high
But I can't see a thing in the sky
Cause I only have eyes for you
I don't know if we're in a garden
Or on a crowded avenue
You are here, so am I
Maybe millions of people go by
But they all disappear from view
And I only have eyes for you
