Born on April 3, 1986, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, John Alan Caraballo was the beloved son of Anaida and Johnny Caraballo and the cherished brother of Angie Cuadra, Carol McVey, and Natalie Strissel. He was happily married to the love of his life, Karen Quiroz, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond.
Throughout his life, John Alan’s greatest passion was music. He was most at peace with a guitar in his hands, effortlessly filling every room with melody and warmth. He found joy in life’s simple moments—playing guitar, listening to music of every kind, and spending time surrounded by those he loved most.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen, who loved him so deeply and stood faithfully by his side; his devoted parents, Anaida and Johnny, whose love shaped the man he became; and his sisters, Angie, Carol, and Natalie, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
He is also survived by his beloved in-laws, Claudia Castillo and Cesar Quiroz; his brothers-in-law, Damian Zelaya, Marlon Zelaya, JP Cuadra, and Ryan McVey, who shared in his laughter and friendship through the years; and his loyal companion pup, Mando, who never left his side and brought him endless comfort and joy.
John Alan will be profoundly missed by his nieces, Samantha and Ashley, and by his dearest and closest friends, who were siblings in their own way.
He is now reunited in heaven with his late brother, John John (Bubba), and his beloved pup, Bailey.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
“Without music, life would be a mistake.” - Friedrich Nietzsche
