He is survived by his devoted wife, Esmeralda; his two daughters, Amanda and Melissa; and his 5 cherished grandchildren, Gabriel, Nicholas, Thomas, Junior, Micaela, and Mason, who were the pride and joy of his life.
Jorge earned his college degree in Accounting in Cuba, a foundation that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. He went on to build a distinguished 30-year career with Miami-Dade County Aviation Department, where he was respected for his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to public service.
Following his retirement, Jorge embraced life fully. He and his beloved wife traveled and created lasting memories together, while he devoted treasured time to his children and grandchildren. Family was the center of his world, and he found his greatest happiness in their presence.
One of Jorge’s lifelong passions was trains. He maintained an elaborate train set in his home, a hobby he enjoyed thoroughly for many years. It was more than a pastime — it was a reflection of his patience, attention to detail, and childlike sense of wonder that he carried throughout his life.
Jorge will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and a man whose steady presence, warmth, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
