Jorge Angel was born on April 25, 1944, in Havana, Cuba, to his parents Alberto Zamorano Blay and Ana Teresa Fabian Gomez. He grew up surrounded by family—his brothers Enrique and Alberto, and his sister Ana Maria.
He was the proud father of six—his daughters Cristina, Mayte, and Vivianne Cristina, who we hold in our hearts and know dad is with reunited with her in heaven, and his sons Jorge, Alexander, and Juan Carlos. Jorge is also survived by his wife Leonor Zamorano.
A Memorial Mass was held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 12125 SW 107 Avenue, Miami, Florida 33176, on May 7, 2026, at 4:00 pm.
