Juan Manuel Fernández Mourelles falleció el 5 de abril de 2026 en Miami. Nacido en La Habana, Cuba, el 22 de octubre de 1948, Juan Manuel fue un hombre de familia devoto, de profunda astucia y confiabilidad inquebrantable. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Maritza; sus hijos, Juan Manuel, Michel, y Monika; y cuatro adorados nietos. Será recordado por su sabiduría y el profundo cuidado que mostró por su familia y amigos.

Graduado de Ingeniería Eléctrica de La CUJAE en La Habana, Juanma—como sus amigos lo llamaban afectuosamente—fue respetado por su mente analítica y su dedicación profesional. Valoró profundamente las conexiones humanas y mantuvo amistades sólidas y duraderas a lo largo de su vida, siendo una presencia constante y confiable para todos los que lo conocieron.

Juan Manuel descansará junto a su madre, Hortencia Mourelles, a quien amó profundamente.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maritza; children, Juan Manuel, Michel, and Monika; and four cherished grandchildren. He will be remembered for his wisdom and the deep care he showed for his family and friends.

An Electrical Engineering graduate from La CUJAE in Havana, Juanma—as his friends affectionately called him—was respected for his analytical mind and professional dedication. He valued deep human connection and maintained strong, lasting friendships throughout his life, serving as a steady and dependable presence for all who knew him.

Juan Manuel will be laid to rest alongside his mother, Hortencia Mourelles, whom he loved deeply.
