Dr. L. Casanova was our doctor for nearly 2 decades and we loved him like a dear friend.  He was so compassionate and really listened to us at each appointment with him.
I feel we may never have another doctor like him.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude and heartfelt condolences to Dr. Luis Casanova’s family. I just received an email from his office announcing that he passed away a week and a half ago, and I am truly saddened by this news.
Dr. Casanova was an exceptional doctor who genuinely cared for his patients. He always greeted people with a smile, a positive attitude, and often a joke that could brighten your day. He was kind, respectful, and compassionate in the way he treated everyone around him.
He was my primary care physician for 18 years, and I am deeply grateful for the care and dedication he provided throughout those years. I truly regret not learning of this heartbreaking news sooner; had I known, I would have attended the service to pay my respects.
He will be remembered with great appreciation and fondness. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

I am so saddened by the loss of Dr Casanova.   He took care of myself and my husband  for over 30 years.  We were very blessed to have had him as our doctor.    Over the years he became not just our Dr but a very dear friend.  He was one of the most compassionate people I have ever known and we will miss him tremendously.  Our condolences Dr Ena and family.

A friend /brother for more than 3 decades.   One of the best human beings I have met.  Not to mention husband , son, father and of course 
physician .
We fished together did business together practiced our profession together a true old school gentleman. They don’t make them like that anymore.
I learned a lot from him  in all aspects of life. 
Honestly , it hit like a ton of bricks and I can’t believe he is not here . Jose m Garcia-Sesin  MD  , Jennifer Jordan, Jonathan ,Julian  will never forget. BTY Dr Ena delivered them all ❤️.

My sincere condolences to family.   He was my Physician for many years and my employer as well.  His kindness and caring will never be forgotten.

Siento un dolor inmenso con la pérdida de mi “pariente”. Somos parte de una familia extensa y muy unida. Compartimos desde niños, pero en realidad no pude apreciar  las  múltiples buenas cualidades y talentos de Luis Alberto hasta que nos re-conectamos aquí en la Florida  después de muchos años de exilio.  Me di cuenta lo talentoso, bondadoso y positivo que era mi pariente y la bella persona que había escogido como compañera de vida.  Atesoraré los días que pasamos compartiendo historias, música, comidas y eventos familiares.  No fueron suficientes…siempre agradeceremos cómo cuidó de Claudia, cuando ella vivía sola en Cape Coral.
Rezamos porque Luis Alberto ahora esté en el Paraíso, cantando alabanzas a Dios, en compañía de todos sus seres queridos que lo esperaban con los brazos abiertos.  Un día nos volveremos a encontrar,  pariente…

Con el corazón roto escribo estas líneas exaltando la memoria del Dr. Luis Alberto Casanova. Un ser humano excepcional y médico con sensibilidad artística. Desde el primer momento en el que compartimos con él y su esposa Ena, fuimos recibidos con mucho cariño. Aún recuerdo su generosidad, su espíritu servicial y la calidez con la que acogió a nuestra familia. Como amante de la música, encontraba en la guitarra un espacio de alegría y encuentro en nuestras reuniones familiares que hoy permanecen como memorias entrañables.
Luis deja una huella imborrable en todos nosotros. Su presencia serena y su bondad serán profundamente extrañadas; pero su ejemplo y su recuerdo seguirá acompañándonos siempre.

Dr. Luis was my physician for the last 11 years. He ran on Cuban time and we loved him for it. He can't be replaced. Thanks Doc. My condolences to his wife and family.  His was a life well lived.
