Marisela Bertot

Marisela Bertot, age 51, passed away on Sunday September 15, 2024. Marisela was born in Miami, Florida. She is survived by her partner, Margarita Sixto, her parents, Charles and Carmen Bertot, her brother, Dr. Charlie Bertot, her sister in-law, Cecile Bertot, and the three biggest joys of her life, her nieces and nephew: Cristina Bertot, Dr. Sophia Bertot and Dr. Andrew Bertot. Marisela was always happiest when surrounded by friends and family. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, even if it meant sacrifice to her.

Marisela is a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, where she participated and excelled in multiple sports. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University and a master’s degree in physical therapy from Nova Southeastern University. A fanatic of the Miami Dolphins, you could always count on Marisela to be spectating on Sundays and enjoying the game with friends and family alike.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 SW 40 Street, Miami, Florida 33155.

The family requests the honor of your presence at the funeral mass to celebrate the life of Marisela Bertot on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Raymond Catholic Church, 3475 SW 17 St, Miami, Florida 33145.

The graveside service will occur after the mass at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn North, 3260 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135.
