Olga was a beloved presence to those who knew her, remembered with deep respect and enduring affection. Her generosity showed itself in the quiet, steady ways she cared—offering warmth, attention, and comfort that made others feel at home in her company.

An animal lover at heart, Olga found joy in the simple, life-giving routines that filled her days. She delighted in her plants and the care they required, and she also cherished her naps—small rests that spoke to a life lived with calm appreciation. Music brought her particular happiness, from the unmistakable voice of “Barbra” Streisand to the spirited sound of mariachi.

Olga’s legacy also lives on through her gift in the kitchen. Known as a great cook, she created more than meals—she offered nourishment and welcome, and her table reflected the same generous spirit that defined her life.

Visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 Bird Road, Miami, FL 33155, on August 28, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Burial Service will follow at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn north, 3260 SW 8th St., Miami, FL 33135, on August 28, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.

Olga Cadiz Roig, 101, nació el 29 de abril de 1925 en Baracoa, Cuba, y falleció el 21 de agosto de 2026.

Olga fue una presencia querida para quienes la conocieron, recordada con profundo respeto y cariño perdurable.
