Paula Janice Swink, age 77, of New Haven, Connecticut, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024. Born in New Haven, Paula was proud of her Italian heritage, a legacy that shaped her warm, welcoming personality and deep family connections. She was a dedicated member of the Legion of Mary at St. Mary’s Church, where her faith and commitment to serving others were evident in the many years she spent as an active participant in church activities.

Although Paula did not have children of her own, she was a beloved aunt who found great joy in the company of her nephew. One of her greatest pleasures was sharing meals with him, as she had a special love for his cooking and the bond it created around the dinner table. Her home was always filled with laughter, and her family will cherish the countless memories of the times they spent together.

A passionate lover of music, Paula especially enjoyed the classic songs from the 1930s and 1940s. She had a beautiful voice and a deep appreciation for the melodies and lyrics of that era, often singing along to her favorite tunes. Paula's love for music brought a sense of joy and nostalgia to those who knew her, and her vibrant spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in her life.
