Every visit, every phone conversation…Pedro and Lilia always expressed “we are family” in their beautiful accents!  What an honour.  Hugs and smiles all around…these memories warm my heart.

“We are family” are the words I can still hear Pedro saying.  I believe that “we are family” happened instantly in July of 1975 when Pedro, Lilia, and the Cuba entourage came Windsor to join the Sicilian Canadians.  A father figure, a gentleman, an expert storyteller, Pedro always treated us with love and respect.  I will always cherish the time Pedro and Lilia took John and me to the dog races!!!  Via con Dios!!! Our love and condolences to Lilia, Peter, Papito and families.   Always in our hearts, Margie and Angelica

Gracias por ser un ejemplo tan fenomenal en mi vida. Me enseñaste no únicamente como vivir mi vida con felizidad  pero también como ser una gran person cómo tú. Siempre vas a tener mi corazón completo y ahora como siempre lo haré, te adoro con todo mi corazón.

Piquin tu fuiste  una  persona  muy especial  para  mi  cuando  mi papa  murio  tu fuiste  un Segundo  Padre  para mi gracias  por Los bellos  Momentos  que pasamos  juntos  nunca  Los voy  a olvidar.Que  Dios te tenga  en  LA Gloria siempre tu te lo mereces. BENDICIONES

Piqui was an incredibly kind, interesting and thoughtful man. When I went to visit Peter and Sara in Miami, he came to pick me up at the airport. It was so nice of him to do so. He drove me around Miami and told me about the city. He also told me a lot of his business travels in many countries. He is a great man and will be very missed. We all send our thoughts prayers and love from up here in Canada. 

I will always remember our time together, whether at the latest James Bond movie release, or sharing a Scotch and cigar together.  I love you and miss you Piqui.
