Having worked out for over 15 years and been to countless supplement stores, Shawn was my go-to guy for the last 10. More than just someone who gave me great deals on protein and pre-workouts, he was genuinely one of the most kind, down-to-earth people I’ve met and over time, I came to consider him a friend.

I made a point to visit his shop every month, or whenever I could. I followed him from his store in the Crossings to the new spot in the Hammocks—even though it was a longer drive, it was always worth it. I’ll always remember how our quick supplement runs would turn into long conversations about everything from hockey to politics, especially Trump. I was late to more than a few work meetings because of those talks, but I never minded.

Shawn would joke if he hadn’t heard from me in a while that I must be shopping at GNC and buying “those crappy ghost Supplements ” 😂 but I was always loyal to Supplement Kingdom and to my brother Shawn.

I will miss you, my friend. Rest easy.

Shawn hey little brother, just want to let you know that you are so loved and so missed by so many. You're an amazing brother with an amazing heart and you will always be loved and missed. So very sorry. Shawn was such a nice, sweet young man. Gone far too young. He was a gifted hockey player. We will miss him. We know the grief and pain you are going through. God bless Shawn. He is now at peace.

To The  Matthewman Family:  I am very saddened to hear about Shawn's passing. I always remember him as being a great young man, respectful,  full of life, smart, happy, and full of life. And incredible you man, friend, and work partner! Worked many times together in transport and main gate! For those who know, know! Was there at my going away party and made it one to remember! Buddy, I miss you like everyone else you made part of your life does! A simple thank you for being in my life and for just letting me in yours! I got to know your father when we worked together and is someone  I could call at any time and just talk just like you were! I will never forget you bud! Thank you for always being you at all times!
