Teresa Mejia, 96, was born on April 25, 1929, in Nicaragua, and passed away on March 25, 2026. A beloved and cherished mother and grandmother, Teresa will be remembered for her brave and resilient spirit, her compassionate heart, and the patient, thoughtful way she cared for those around her. After her initial introduction, “Teresa” was simply known to many as a steady, inspirational presence—adventurous in outlook, and unwavering in devotion to family. Teresa resided in Miami, Florida.
Teresa is survived by her son, Lester Montalban; and 15 Grandchildren, 14 Great Great grandchildren, 2 great great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 BIRD RD, Miami, FL 33155, on March 30, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am (next day).
A Religious Ceremony will be held at Our Lady of the Divine Providence Catholic Church, 10205 W Flagler St, Miami, FL 33174, on March 31, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
