Teresa Ramos

Teresa Ramos, madre, abuela, hermana, tía y amiga entrañable, falleció en paz, dejando tras de sí un legado de amor, fortaleza y gracia. Nacida en la vibrante ciudad de La Habana, Cuba, en la comunidad de Lawton, Teresa llevó consigo el calor de su tierra natal a lo largo de toda su vida.

En 1963, Teresa dejó Cuba con valentía, pasando seis meses en España antes de establecerse en West New York, Nueva Jersey, donde construyó una hermosa vida junto a su amado esposo, Manuel Chagoyen (fallecido). Juntos criaron a dos hijas y fundaron La Estrella Jewelry Store, un negocio familiar en el que Teresa dirigía las ventas con elegancia y carisma, mientras Manuel supervisaba la manufactura. Su unión fue un ejemplo de amor profundo y respeto mutuo. Se retiraron juntos en 1989 y se mudaron a Miami, Florida. Manuel falleció poco después, en febrero de 1990, dejando a Teresa con la fortaleza para continuar sus sueños compartidos con dignidad.

Teresa fue una madre orgullosa y amorosa de:

• Nieves Ospina, junto a su esposo Jose Careaga, y abuela de Adrian Garcia y Andrew Garcia, quienes llenaron su vida de inmensa alegría.

• Maria Isabel Chagoyen, su hija menor y cuidadora devota, cuyo amor incondicional y apoyo constante fueron un consuelo permanente.

Teresa fue precedida en muerte por su querida hermana Elisa Nava y su cuñado Manolo Nava, y es recordada con cariño por sus sobrinas:

• Barbara Zarekani, su esposo Mike y su hija Meagan

• Felicia Naderski, su esposo Tim

• Maria Soleda Wessenauer, su esposo Eric

Una mención especial y sentida para Alex Rodriguez, quien fue como un segundo hijo para Teresa. Su amor y presencia enriquecieron profundamente su vida. También guardaba con cariño el recuerdo de sus padres fallecidos, Celida y Alejandro Rodriguez, cuya amistad y bondad fueron muy valoradas.

Teresa fue la amada hija de Evangelina Placencia y Nicasio Ramos, cuyos valores y espíritu llevó consigo siempre.

Teresa Ramos, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and grace. Born in the vibrant city of Havana, Cuba, in the close-knit community of Lawton, Teresa carried the warmth of her homeland throughout her life.

In 1963, Teresa bravely left Cuba, spending six months in Spain before settling in West New York, New Jersey, where she built a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Manuel Chagoyen (deceased). Together, they raised two daughters and founded La Estrella Jewelry Store, a family business where Teresa managed the retail sales with elegance and charm, while Manuel oversaw manufacturing. Their partnership was one of deep love and mutual respect, and they retired together in 1989, moving to Miami, Florida. Manuel passed away shortly after, in February 1990, leaving Teresa to carry forward their shared dreams with strength and dignity.

Teresa was the proud and loving mother of:

• Nieves Ospina, her partner Jose Careaga, and grandmother to Adrian Garcia and Andrew Garcia, who brought immense joy to her life.

• Maria Isabel Chagoyen, her youngest daughter and devoted caregiver, whose unwavering love and support were a constant comfort.

Teresa was preceded in death by her dear sister Elisa Nava and her dear brother in-law Manolo Nava, and is fondly remembered by her nieces:

• Barbara Zarekani, her husband Mike, and daughter Meagan

• Felicia Naderski, her husband Tim
