

Thierry Alkhal, born on September 24, 1980, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 45. He made his home in Somerville, Massachusetts, where he built a life filled with love, creativity, and purpose.
Thierry is survived by his wife of nine years, Thaïs Alkhal, and their beloved daughter, Eloïse. He was a devoted son to Nancy Saliba and to Pierrot and Nausicaa Alkhal. He was a cherished brother to Nadim, Sandrine, Nika, Sebastien, Piero, Alessandro, and Sean. He was also a beloved brother-in-law to Blas, Sara, and Valerie.
He was lovingly guided throughout his life by his godparents, Richard Tesserot and Diana Joseph. He is additionally mourned by his in-laws, Philippe and Elizabeth Beaulne, Barbara Stephenson and Frédéric Coppin, and their families. Thierry was deeply loved by his extended family the Al-Khal, Chancy, Martino, Saliba, and Tesserot families.
Thierry was a kind, gentle, and compassionate soul whose presence left an impression on everyone he met. With a captivating spirit, a charming smile, and a heart of gold, he had the rare ability to make others feel seen, valued, and understood. He was a dedicated and talented individual who excelled in all he pursued. His passion for architecture was evident in the care, creativity, and heart he poured into his work.
A free spirit at heart, Thierry found peace in nature—especially by the ocean, his most cherished place. Though he left us far too soon, we remain forever grateful for the time we were blessed to shareå with him. His warmth, generosity, and light will live on in the memories of all who loved him.
