I miss you terribly. Just managed to get together as a family this Christmas. However, your absence was certainly felt. But you know, life forces you to go on.         I just wish I could hug you one more time. I really miss you...😔💔

2 years have now passed & it feels like i just lost you.  I wish you were still here but i understand that im being selfish, you are with our Heavenly Father surrounded with Loved ones too.  We are all well, living as best we can in this so politically correct World where so much has been lost.  Awaiting so many changes to come...  But Love perseveres!

Mami, te extraño....no se como voy a poder seguir, sabiendo que no estas aqui.  Este es el dolor mas grande que he tenido en mi vida.  A travez de tu vida nos enseñastes a ser fuertes y a seguir adelante.  Tantos recuerdos me ayudaran... tu sonrisa, tus consejos, los cuentos de  toda tu vida. Fuiestes una mujer luchadora, determinada, fuerte y con mucha valentia. 
Tu fe en Dios guio tu camino.  Siempre fomentastes el amor y la union entre nosotras tus hijas.  Decias que tu eras la palma de la mano y nosotras tus cinco dedos.  Esas manos que tocaban el piano tan bello y yo no supe apreciar.  Como extrañare tu musica.  Recuerdo como de niña nos poniamos en fila para rascarnos. Esos momentos que solo nosotras entendiamos.  Te gustaba el mar, el azul del cielo,  alimentar a cuanto pajaro pudieses e ir a ver a las vacas a Miami Lakes. Siempre te cuidabas de lucir bien con tus chaquetas.  Te gustaba lucir sharp!  Los recuerdos de todas las veces que nos llevastes a Disney World !!  Te gustaba los viajes en carretera. Restauranes,  wow,  como te gustaba comer afuera!! Casa Marin, Islas Canarias, Cracker Barrel y si McDonald's y Kentucky Fried Chicken.... Como comias Sara Lee, majarete, arroz con leche, flan, en fin un diente afilado para el dulce.   La vida paso rapido y amastes a Papi con todo tu corazon.  Fue el amor de tu vida.  Dejastes tu legado a travez de tus cinco hijas, siete nietos y cinco bisnietos hasta ahora.  Me encargare de que Clara te conosca bien y sepa tu historia.  Tu sigues viviendo en ella.  Se que te volvere a ver en mis sueños y luego en el mas alla.  Tratare de seguir adelante de una manera siempre poniendo tus recuerdos en alto.  Ahora estas con Ayeya y Ayeyo.  Que alegria para ellos. Papi te tiene su lugarcito de pesca alla arriba.  Eso me dara paz y fortaleza en el alma.  Te quiero hoy y siempre. Tu tercera hija, Elizabeth.

Dear Mom,
My world will never be the same without you. You were the glue that kept everything and everyone together. I will miss your calls to know if I'm ok or if I've eaten anything, your "rascaditas de espalda", driving you around to do errands, seeing you wave goodbye when I went to work in the mornings, talking to you when I needed advise or just the safe haven I felt by you being there.  
The only thing that gives me some sort of comfort right now is the idea that your spirit is free from anything that was ailing you and that you are with dad and all the people that loved you and had gone before you. 
I hope that I can feel you near when the sorrow and grief may be too difficult to bear and that your memory lives in my heart forever.

Abuela was one of a kind. Always very aware of what needed to be done. Always looking out for those she loved. Bust most of all always new when to take a step back and enjoy herself. I will miss her smile and our little dances the most as it always brought warmth to my heart. I will miss her more then forever...

Madre Querida hoy te escribo un breve resumen de lo que llevo en mi corazón ❤. 
Un Tesoro creado por Dios son las Madres nos dan todo de si mismas para sentirnos protegidas, prefieren no comer antes que tu no comas. Te compran regalos y hasta los antojos de lo que quieres y te lo dan. Trabajan extra tiempo en la calle vendiendo y su part time pero logra tenerte en el mejor colegio. Se asegura que tu estes en las actividades del colegio extras pero el dinero lo saca. Te da consejos diariamente para que no te equivoques en la vida . Te ve Casarte y se llena de orgullo y cuando tienes hijos te dice que debeqs hacer si se refrian siempre pendientes de todo . Cuándo sabes que estas triste por x razón  te acompaña con tu tristeza y siempre te da ánimo. Siempre te busca la salucion a todo. MI MADRE Siempre te oire por todo camino que vaya..Cuando vea las extrellas allí te vere pero nunca dejaras de estar en el lugar sagrado que Dios creo para Ti 
Mi Corazón.  En Paz los Angeles te llevan y Dios y Papi te Reciben. SIEMPRE ESTARAS CONMIGO ANGEL DE LUZ.

My mother and friend, you are very much part of who I am.
You are and will always be with me.  I will also always remember
that you led your life with courage, dedication and compassion for all those around you, all the way to the very end of your life.  You taught me how to be strong,  how to always move forward with conviction and assertiveness but with much love in my heart.
I thank you mother for all the sacrifices and the memorable memories you made for all those around you.  Everyone that knew you knows that you loved your Country (Cuba), the Country that embraced you in exile (U.S.) and your Catholic Faith.
You always led by example, you stood by what you believed in yet had a compassionate heart to understand others.  

You had a kindred spirit, making us all remember to live every day of our lives to the fullest.  We enjoyed many happy moments, many Blessings came our way - you will be missed by all of those that really got to know the essence of YOU! 
 I cry for you today Mom, I can't help it - I know that you are our "Angel of Light", that we will be together soon and it gives me comfort to know that you are in Heaven with God, Papi, George, Ayello Y Ayella and so many others that also have found the light.  

With much Love Mom I promise to take care of myself, to follow in your footsteps and to keep your memory alive for those generations to come.  Your grandsons, great grandsons, friends and family have been touched by your Love and will always keep you in their memories and heart!
