Zoila Diaz, 95, was born in Cuba on December 30, 1930, and passed away on May 19, 2026. A beloved and cherished presence to those who knew her, Zoila will be remembered for the steady compassion she extended to others and the devoted care she gave to the people she loved. She resided in Miami, Florida.
Zoila married the love of her life, Rolando Diaz, and held her family close at the center of her days. Her warmth was felt most in the simple, enduring ways she showed up—through patient kindness, thoughtful attention, and a heart that made room for others.
She found joy in sewing, traveling, and time spent with family—interests that reflected her gentle spirit and the care she brought to everyday life. Her memory will remain a quiet strength and a lasting comfort to those who carry her love forward.
Zoila is survived by her spouse, Rolando Diaz; her daughter, Malin Machado; her son in law, Jorge Medina; her grandsons, Erick Machado and Michael Machado; her great grandson, Antonio Machado; and her granddaughters-in-law, Daiane Alfaro and Chantel Fernandez.
Visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 BIRD RD, MIAMI, FL 33155, on May 27, 2026, at 6:00 pm.
A Committal Service will be held at Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 NW 57th Ave, Miami Lakes, FL 33014, on May 28, 2026, at 10:30 am.
